Tonight I was able to go to the Temple. I needed to go to the Temple!! It was an amazing night. Not because of anything in particular but because it was peaceful and the spirit was strong. I went with a prayer in my heart to know if this job for Corey is a path that we should take and I feel very strongly that it is. I have had my doubts about it but tonight I felt a huge blanket of comfort and peace as I sat and pondered and prayed about it. I know that this is the kind of job that would allow us to grow as a family and that is what is absolutely most important!! Before the session started I opened the scriptures to try and see if I could find something inspiring. I opened the Book of Mormon up to 3 Nephi chapter 12 and read verses in no particular order. First 2: And again more blessed are they who shall believe in your words... Then 13: Verily I say unto you I give unto you to be the salt of the earth...14: Verily verily I say unto you I give unto you to be the light of this people...then 8: And blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God...9: An blessed are all the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.
I thought it was a pretty good beginning to a wonderful night. It sure did help me feel speical and like I am doing a good job, the job I am supposed to be doing. It was a good reminder...
